Bacteria

Bacteria

These have no true nucleus so are called prokaryote

These are classified into group monera

These are always unicellular or single cellular

These have no associated proteins like histone protein

They have normally the asexual mode of reproduction

They have the widest distribution as they can be found ANY WHERE

Some of bacteria are autotrophic

The bacteria which convert atmospheric nitrogen into stable nitrogen compound is called nitrifying bacteria these are chemosynthetic an useful for plants

CYANO BACTERIA IS ALSO CALLED BLUE GREEN ALGEA IS ANOTHER GROUP FOUND IN KINGDOM MONERA

The bacteria E.COLI is used for scientific research

USEFUL BACTERIA

FIXATION OF NITROGEN BY CLOSTRIDIUM AND RHIZOBIUM

THESE ARE USED IN PRODUTION OF ANTI BIOTICS AS

STEPTOMYCIN FROM STREPTOMYCES GRISEUS

TYPHOID CHLOROMYCTIN FROM S VENZUELA

MILK IS CONVERTED INTO CURD USING LACTOBACILLUS

LACTC ACID IS THE WASTE PRODUCT OF INTESTINAL BACTERIA IS USEFUL FOR HUMAN

THESE ARE USED IN PRODUCTION OF ENZYMES

THESE ARE USED FOR PRODXUTION OF ALCOHAL AND VINEGER
